LIM was a
Champion 2 y-old racehorse running twice,
winning both his starts.
He ran over a distance of 1200m (6 furlongs) winning
his first race in a time of 1 min 18.3 sec. His
second win was the Dorpata Listed race, Poland's top race for 2y'olds
where he won in a time of 1 min. 16.7 sec. Comparable
races for 2 y-olds over the same distance; 28th June Derby Day 'Railway Stakes' won in a time of
exactly 1 min 20 sec. 6th September 2y'old Stakes race, the Curragh, in a time of
1 min 17.7 sec. In October, the Blenhim Stakes, Listed, in a time of 1 min 21 sec.
While The Hinz 57 that year was won in a time faster then Lym's.
Lim was favorite for the Polish Derby but had
injured himself beforehand
and was unable to run. He is now fully
recovered and has
started dressage, showjumping and eventing.

An American bred winner of five races,
including
two Listed races and was placed second in another Listed race from a total
of eight starts. He was imported into Poland in 1989 where he became a
very successful sire. His progeny included 'Amman' '91 winner of
six races including the Kozienic St. Ledger and 'Mustafa' '94
winner of four races including Iwna Derby.
Majestic Light, Lim's
grandsire, ran 31 times up to the age of six, winning $650,000
including four Group 1 races. He sired Nishino Flower, winner of
over $3 million, Solar Splendor, winner of over $1.3 million, Lite Light,
winner of over $1.2 million and more.

This superb mare was the winner of the Polish Oaks and
was the dam of 8 winners (all by different sires) including 'Lim'
Champion (above) 'Limak' '91 (winner of
five races including the Polish Derby, plus third in a
Listed race in France.) 'Listera' '92 (winner of six races
including Przedswita, Listed race). Limera is from a German line by the Val de Loir son, Beauvallon (FR),
Beauvallon was a French bred sprinter who won the Warren stakes
at Newmarket, the Prix Charles in France and was third in the Ballymoss
Stakes at the Curragh.

As a four year old he was fully
approved by the Irish Horse Board where he was inspected both loose and
jumping. Lim started showjumping
in competition and started One day eventing in 2000. It is
hoped to start competing again in the spring alongside his stud career.
16.01.2000 Jumped a lovely
double clear in Cavan indoor Show with Richard.
23.01.2000 Jumped
again, another double clear 90 cm class, Cavan.
19.02.2000 Jumped Double
clear Dollanstown Eventers 1m class.
27.02.2000 Double clear 1m
class, Cavan indoor Show.
04.03.2000 Three clear
rounds to clinch 2nd place in the Dollanstown Showjumping league Finals.
22.4.2000 Loughanmore One
Day Event, 6th Pre Novice.
23.7.2000 Marguerite Lodge,
One day event, 7th place, 20 dressage and clear all the way to finish on his dressage
score.
29.7.2000 1st in the Potential
Young Event Horse, Nenagh. Qualifier for Millstreet on the 17th August. He
had the highest conformation marks for the day and equal highest jumping
marks.
25.7.2001Jumped a double clear in Cavan indoor Show with Richard.
